Hiya,

well - I got one or two pics...

3 String Trace Wonder

Here's the Diddley Bo.

Danelectro (the Dirt Digger!)

Resonator

Acoustic

...and again - the pretty guitar played by KT was made from wood reclaimed from a distillery!

and again... with the dano too.

Another Acoustic!

Strat copy

One of the Cigar Box Guitars

Another Cigar Box Guitar

A little bit of the banjo

The MDM (okay - not exactly a guitar... but the set ain't complete without it!)

The Hubcap (or Morris Minor) guitar

I can't think of any more right now - does this show what you want?

Note how many of Steve's guitars wear one of those old Harmony 'Gold Foil' DeArmond pickups - I have one on my telecaster and it does sound rather nice.

Anybody else - I know there were lots of great shots from many other snappers on the old official forum - anyone care to repost here?

cheers, davey.

That is a very fine selection of photos you have there Davey Smile

I'd love to have Steve's collection of geetars, especially that hubcap one Wink

Is the acoustic a 3/4 size one? I was thinking of getting a smaller acoustic myself as they seem to lend themselves to a more relaxed playing style...

I think its 'normal' scale - I've never heard any mention of it being short - and looking at that shot with the dano next to it they look similar. It is a small body 'parlour' style though so it does look quite little!

Yeah, I personally love short scale guitars. My fave is a Fender duosonic - really punky little 22 inch scale electric thats so light you wouldn't believe, and sounds really dirty - I love it. Not so good if you got big hands though!

Ahh, that might explain it. Has the acoustic got some kind of pyrography on it as well?

the second one (the one that doesn't come out too often) has something like that on it - might be simply painted. Its shown clearly in this video:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/musictv/guitars/video/seasicksteve/

from about 2mins 10 seconds.

Superb link, thanks for that, I hadn't seen that video before Cool

I'd love to know the story behind that guitar even more now. Looked like it had been painted and partially worn off through heavy use... Wonder what the scene on it represented???
